SKALD Continuing Work On New Album
January 18, 2010Swedish folk metal band SKALD has set "Vitterland" (English translation: "Witherland") as the title of its new album, due later in the year via Unexploded Records. According to the group, "The reason it has taken [such a] long time, and will take even more, is mostly because we decided early on that the new songs should be 100% stronger and better than anything we've ever done before. We also decided that there would be 10 songs on the record — no more, no less. As a result, we have made a couple of songs that didn't make it on to the final product. This is something we've never done before but we felt that we, as a band couldn't stand behind these songs 100%. But now we are all done."
